The Hydromedi facial is an amazing facial on so many levels, and we would recommend a treatment every 4-6 weeks. If you suffer from acne, we recommend a treatment once a week, until all breakouts are under control. Using the proper skin care at home whilst doing the salon treatments is always advised.

A Hydromedi Facial treatment is one of the most talked about anti-ageing facial treatments at the moment.

The reason for this, is that in just one facial, your skin will go through many different stages, from cleansing and exfoliation, to hydration and oxygenation.

The facial uses hydradermabrasion, that is exfoliation using water, to give a deep exfoliation that is much softer than using regular microdermabrasion.

What are the 4 stages of the Hydromedi Facial Treatment?

The four stages of our Hydrafacial Hydromedi treatment are able to treat all layers of your skin, not just the epidermis. The treatment cleanses, exfoliates using water and acids, hydrates, tightens the skin, helps to reduce wrinkles, tops up the oxygen level and your skin cell nutrients using Vitamin C.

HYDROMEDI™

Stage 1: The suction and specially formulated solutions will reach deep down into your skin to help unblock pores and remove blackheads. Highly effective for individuals who suffer from breakouts and acne, as it helps to remove the bacteria and pustules that aid in breakouts. This stage also helps to hydrate and nourish the skin by using glycolic and salicylic acid and Vitamin C.

OXYNRICH™

Stage 2: Helps to exfoliate even deeper whilst giving nourishment and oxygenating the skin. Your complexion will look even smoother and fresher. Using the vibration of the tip and the special treatment gel, this stage exfoliates and simultaneously produces tiny CO2 bubbles that penetrate deep down into your skin, helping your capillaries to release oxygen and thus rejuvenating your skin cells.

ULTRA+SERUM™

Stage 3: Uses a combination of ultrasound and aesthetic grade serums to penetrate the skin to nourish and hydrate at a dermal level. The serum we use is a strong mix of HLA, vitamins C, E, B3, B5 and Ferulic acid and Vitamin C. This stage is particularly great for hydration, nourishment, and if you suffer from age spots, dull skin and pigmentation.

QUADPOLAR RF

Stage 4: This is an add-on treatment which is perfect for looking incredible before a big event such as a wedding. Using two pairs of bipolar radio frequency contacts, we warm the skin to 41c, which in turn contracts the skin collagen structure, and thus helps to reduce skin laxity. This will give you an instant refreshed and youthful look.

How long does a treatment take?

The basic facial takes 55min and an extra 15min if you wish to add on the Quadpolar, an extra 15min if you wish to add on a relaxing facial/decolte massage and an extra 30 min for the Dermalux LED add-on.

No. The only thing you may experience is a bit of redness after the treatment, which normally goes away after a couple of hours. Remember to use an SPF 50 after all facial treatments.
